About Us

Juncture is the University of Manchester Undergraduate Politics Journal.

We are proudly run by volunteer students with the support of the University of Manchester's School of Social Sciences.

Our Story

Juncture was founded in 2017 through collaborative efforts by undergraduate students and the generous support of the School of Social Sciences.

Since then, we have proudly published 13 journals to present the exemplary standard of the University of Manchester's Social Sciences students.

Our aim is to showcase the best of UoM's undergraduate politics research. We always seek to offer alternative perspectives to important issues from a breadth of disciplines.

We are always modernising and adapting Juncture to make it the most intuitive and relevant student journal of the prestigious Russell Group universities.

Meet the Team

Our fully trained board of editors pays great care and attention to all of the essays we receive. Without them, Juncture would not be possible.

Meet our current board of editors and see what they have to say about their personal interests.

Join the Team

We're often looking for new editors to join the board. Becoming an editor will involve reviewing at least one essay per week, participating in board meetings which vary from in-person to online, and helping the board prepare for publication.

If you're interested, follow the link to learn how to apply for the board.
